Dear Dad,
Well the court ruling is in....time for you to pack up and get out of that
state! Plans are now being drawn up by military leaders to cordon off and
quarantine the state of California in an effort to curb the spread of
gayness throughout the country. What is our society coming to Dad?
Is this the kind of world that we are fighting and dying for in Iraq and
Afghanistan? Has democracy just become a way for US corporations to come
into a country and promulgate their wares?
Along with freedom we will give you Starbucks and STDs. Morals will be replaced with pro-gay / pro-choice
rhetoric being spewed from every television in every home. The THEORY of
evolution will become the new religion. Our children will become experts and
zealots in this new religion through the guise of public education. All of our problems will be fixed with a magic pill or a shopping spree at your
nearest Super-Mega-Wal-Mart.
Tons and tons of mind-poisoning drugs will spill over into our country through a border that remains open so that we'll
always have a large stock of migrant workers to do jobs that Americans are
too prideful to take.
I don't know how many Americans see this Dad, because I know a lot of them
are blind, but honestly I'm a little fearful of coming back into this.
I've spent the last 6 1/2 years travelling the world, and it has been an
eye-opening experience to say the least. I think to myself, "What can a
Christian do to bring America back around?"...it's a losing battle, Dad!
We know that in the end the Almighty Lord wins, we know that, but what stand
can we take when there is so much evil bombarding us on a daily basis that
it takes us everything just to defend against it. Satan is making his push
in the world because his time is short, and his influence has infiltrated
the highest leaders in our world, trickling down into everyone's lives.
Standing up against this means going toe-to-toe with the most powerful
people in the nation. For Christians to win this battle we have to stand up
at every level; local, state, AND national. We need parents getting involved
in the education system, asking why evolution is taught while creation is
left out.
Almost every state has laws that state that school textbooks must
be accurate. Most of the crap that talks about evolution in our textbooks
has been disproved, yet we continue to let our children to be taught these
lies.
We have to find a way to tighten the Mexican border because the Mexicans cannot help themselves. Their police force is plagued by corruption
and any cop who tries to stand up against the drug cartels is putting their
entire family in danger.
Our fight has an overwhelming number of fronts. Our fight is with government, with the media, with Hollywood, and our worst
enemy...ourselves. Just yesterday I read an article about a Baptist pastor,
leader of one of the largest churches in the US, has been arrested for
attempting to solicit a minor online.
We need more men like yourself Dad, who are willing to march straight to the front lines and meet this conflict
head on. Men who will lead from the front despite the ridicule and scorn. I
will make that stand in my little town in the states.
And I hope that my brothers and sisters in the armed forces will continue this fight as well.
If no one is willing to step up and fight for the morals and beliefs that
our country was founded upon, then sadly, it is doomed to fall.
Anyways, that's my 2 cents for now. Keep doing what you're doing dad ...I know you're making a difference even when you don't see it. I love and miss
you, and hope to see all of you soon!
