On Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at approximately 1:43 p.m. the victim in this case reported an unknown subject burglarized her residence. A report was taken but no suspects were initially identified.
On Saturday, January 24, 2009, Officer Lientz received additional information regarding this case. Officer Lientz continued the investigation and identified a possible suspect as Adam Gomez. Officer Lientz contacted Mr. Gomez at his residence and located the stolen property, which was later returned to the victim.
Mr. Gomez was arrested without incident. Mr. Gomez was transported to the Porterville Police Department for booking. Mr. Gomez was later cited and released with a court date due to extenuating circumstances.
This case will be forwarded to the Tulare County District Attorney’s office for a charge of 459 PC-Burglary, against Mr. Gomez.
