Felony Charges for Domestic Violence

On January 8, 2009 at approximately 7:45 p.m. officers were dispatched to an address in the 400 block of South E Street, Porterville, regarding an assault that had just occurred.

A confidential victim and Louis Esquivel were contacted.

The investigation revealed the victim had been assaulted by Mr. Esquivel.

The victim sustained minor injuries that did not require medical attention.

Mr. Esquivel was arrested at the scene. Mr. Esquivel was booked into Tulare County Jail on a felony charge of domestic violence.
