RIGHT from Springville © with Bob Inabinette God willing I will be 80 on 09-09-2011 and I think he is willing! I am in good health and in some respects feel better than I did 40 years ago. I am fortunate in that I do not take, or need, any prescription medication. I take a lot of alternative supplements which I credit to my health.

I am blessed with a "heaven on earth home" and a wonderful wife (soon to be 36 years) to share it with. My "anchors" are God and Norma. I am fortunate to have my daughter Melody, two grandsons, Justin and Rob, and a host of friends, some dating over 50 years. Many of you have seen me through the disasters of the loss of two of my daughters and for that I thank you.

Some have questioned why God took my two daughters too soon; however I do not question Him. I thank God for the time I had them. I have to accept that God knows best.

I have outlived 4 of my six brothers, which saddens me, but still have 3 sisters and 2 brothers and thank God for them along with dozens of nephews and nieces.

This summer I have had the tendency to bitch about triple digit temperatures and then stop to see how blessed we are to live where we do. Just this year we have seen terrible tragedies in America, tornadoes, flooding, hurricanes, droughts and wild fires that have cost billions of dollars and hundreds of lives. There have been other disasters around the world that have cost many lives and countless property damage. I pray for all of them.

I am more fearful for our country than I have been in all of my life.

We must change this in 2012 by sweeping out the crud in Washington, DC.

We must return to a Constitutional government and God fearing country. Without these two we are lost! If we let Him, we can overcome.

May God bless you all and thank you for being a part of my life. God bless America and all of our troops around the world. May God bring them home safely sooner rather than later.

Love to all,
