(Jul 20 2008) - Governments Protect Governments Not People !
by A. L. "LUCKY" Lucketta :
FEMA CIVIL DEFENSE SHELTERS As a Christian who is a Conservative and Constitutionalist, I need to ask our federal government - the peoples servant - why is it when theres any kind of trouble, disaster or crisis, the first to receive services and or protection are government servants ? Why are our tax dollars going to protect those who are sworn to protect us, the people of the United States of America ? America was pimped out in 1913 and again in 1933 to a private group of bankers who sold our politicians on another view of federalism one that would protect their special banking interests. Nationalism For the People was out, federalism For the Bankers was in and its just that simple.

(Mar 30 2008) - Most Likely to Succeed !
by A. L. "LUCKY" Lucketta :
Saturday, as you drove past Veterans Park in Porterville, you saw what looked like folks celebrating another week-end of Easter. But that wasn't the case ! It was more like the youth of Porterville getting together to explore successful encounters and relationships. And thats what coming together at parks basically does. Folks meet each other at parks to have fun, enjoy the activities, strive to understand each other and to find a common purpose -- for the kids.

(Mar 22 2008) - What's Missing ?
by A. L. "LUCKY" Lucketta :
The Post took these pictures of crosses on many our local churches to demonstrate only one purpose ... and that is to say, JESUS CHRIST is missing from these crosses because HE defeated death for you and I on the cross and "Rose from the Grave". That's why Christian's celebrate the RESURRECTION OF CHRIST, not a chocolate easter egg ! The world wants to steal the real meaning of this HOLY-DAY by creating a sacraligious message.

(Mar 09 2008) - Who do you trust in Porterville ?
by A. L. "LUCKY" Lucketta :
As elections come and go, political leaders and campaigns appear to be putting their trust more on polls than on the people, and the people appear to know this as well. So, the Post conducted a quick one day street-survey about who the people trust regarding, politicians, police, the media and gangs.
