PORTERVILLE, CA -- This week the Porterville Post celebrated two years of on-line news service – serving mostly those readers from the Porterville area. In the first year we relied mostly on word of mouth and by the start of the second year became well known in the area as a Christian Conservative on-line news service.

Concurring with the Post’s desire to establish a partisan Christian and Conservative base - e-mails from all over America flooded in just to say “THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME”. A percentage of those readers went on to establish their own on-line news service for their areas and we were encouraged to hear of their success and hope many other Christians and Conservatives do the same.

Right out of the gate the Post picked up a few writers – some were novices who had a few articles and columns in them, while others became instrumental in increasing the readership of the Post, not just locally but eventually from all over the world. As of this date the Post is screening more writers whom GOD has sent our way and you will be reading their articles as well.

THE POST HAS A PURPOSE :

As many have read already, the Post was miraculously established by Faith the day after Thanksgiving in 2007. Initially I perceived this web site concept as was my own thought but ultimately understood it as GOD’s plan. I then spent about four hours in prayer and on line looking for ideas and came up empty – until THE HOLY SPIRIT intervened and I am thankful HE did.

Last week, I was personally encouraged to see many of America’s Church leaders band together in Manhattan to establish “The Manhattan Declaration” - basically putting our government leaders on notice saying they have gone too far in their legislative decisions and if they do not cease and desist from their immoral demands regarding “Christian, albeit Traditional Values” then civil disturbance - in all likelihood - will increase.

Not unlike “The Manhattan Declaration” the purpose of the Post was to proclaim that point of “Christian and Traditional Values.” We have traced and tracked many historical writings regarding The BIBLE and our Christian Faith which was sewn into the fabric and framework of the Constitution. Without that Christian framework the Constitution would’ve been just another declaration needing a dictator for its own defense.

Secondarily, the Post on-line news service will continue to beaconed secular tolerance as intolerance towards truth. Was it not JESUS who was questioned by Pilot “What is truth?” When all the while TRUTH was right in front of him and he couldn’t tolerate it. The Post will not tolerate Nero’s secular source of truth any more. Christians must stop tolerating the secularizing of Christianity ! “JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND LIFE” !

Third, the Post will become more involved with local and state politics. Too many times politicians have mimicked the electorates issues to get elected, only later to be influenced by other lobby interests or issues. This in many minds constitutes fraud and should be viewed as nothing less. Politicians who campaigned on local issues and renege on those promises should be taken to civil court and sewed for breach of contract. I know that sounds hash, but look at the condition of our country folks. These politicians who scammed us once on the way in are now scamming us on the way out. They’re scamming us for our money, for our education system, for our country, for our way of life and for our beliefs. And they were able to scam us … BECAUSE WE TOLERATE IT !

THE POST HAS THE PLAN :

Finally, the Post will be preparing the Porterville area for “PLAN A” - sometimes referred to or called “OPERATION PEACE TOWN”. While the rest of the country is going to hell-in-a-hand-basket, Christians need to “Pray for the Peace and Prosperity of Porterville”. We must get to know our neighbors better and become the watchmen in our neighborhoods. Historically, this was our first line of defense. Biblically this is called “THE ROYAL LAW”, to love THE LORD YOUR GOD with all your Heart and to love your neighbor as yourself. If we Christians are successful in “PLAN A” then GOD will use Porterville in the End Times like HE Promised for a Great Revival. It’s up to you.
