U.K. -- TWO children a year die after routine vaccinations, research has shown. In some cases the Government has awarded parents up to �100,000 under its Vaccine Damage Payment Act 1979. In others, post mortem examin�ations concluded that the injection was the most likely cause of death. The figures, compiled by vaccine damage support group Jabs, come in the wake of last month�s decision by the General Medical Council that Dr Andrew Wakefield, who sparked the MMR controversy, acted �dishonestly and irresponsibly�. Yes, as if their outdoor billboards advertising "H1N1 NOW AVAILABLE" weren't confusing enough, they've now apparently printed up stickers and started slapping them on every surface in the store with no sense whatsoever of how this could be just a bit incongruous. Nah.

The Whitby woman can�t stand without leaning on a walker and her legs are too numb to allow her to walk for more than a few steps. The right side of her face is paralyzed, she can�t properly chew solid food and her right eye is bandaged because she can no longer blink to protect it. Until five weeks ago, she was a perfectly healthy woman spending Christmas with her family in Nova Scotia. And then on Dec. 29 she was rushed to an emergency room in Halifax, suddenly unable to stand on feet.

(Jan 20 2010) - 1918 and 2009 H1N1 Flu Probably Not Spread by Birds
CANADA -- (ScienceDaily) The two strains of the H1N1 influenza virus responsible for the 1918 and 2009 global flu pandemics do not cause disease in birds. The results of the study, published in the February issue of the Journal of General Virology, also show it is unlikely that birds played a role in the spread of the H1N1 virus in these pandemics. Scientists from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's National Centre for Foreign Animal Disease (NCFAD) in Winnipeg, Canada, together with collaborators in the USA, injected the 2009 and 1918 H1N1 virus strains individually into chickens. None developed flu symptoms or showed any signs of tissue damage up to18 days later, although about half the chickens developed antibodies against the 1918 H1N1 virus showing limited infection. The 1918 H1N1 virus also did not cause disease in ducks. The origin of the 1918 H1N1 virus is unknown and despite its genetic similarity to avian influenzas, the results of this study show it is unlikely to have jumped the species barrier from chickens to humans.

H1N1 swine flu was never dangerous, and it never should have been escalated to a level-six pandemic in the first place. It was all a big marketing scam whose purpose was to simply sell vaccines.

For Wolfgang Wodarg, the pandemic of A H1N1, which started as Mexican Flu, then Swine Flu, was no more and no less than a campaign to create a false notion of insecurity for the pharmaceutical companies to cash in. "The great campaign of panic we have seen provided a golden opportunity for representatives from labs who knew they would hit the jackpot in the case of a pandemic being declared," he declared. Claiming that the "pandemic" is "one of the great medicine scandals of the century," Dr. Wodarg has called for an enquiry. The resolution he proposed for an investigation into the role of the pharma companies in the A H1N1 story has been passed by the Council of Europe, which is based in Strasbourg. An emergency debate will be held at the end of January.

U.S.A. -- The CDC is engaged in a very clever, statistically devious spin campaign, and nearly every journalist in the mainstream media has fallen for its ploy. No one has yet reported what I'm about to reveal here. It all started with the CDC's recent release of new statistics about swine flu fatalities, infection rates and vaccination rates. But here's the part you're NOT being told. The CDC statistics lie by omission. They do not reveal the single most important piece of information about H1N1 vaccines: How many of the people who died from the swine flu had already been vaccinated ? The CDC is intentionally not tracking how many of the dead were previously vaccinated. They want you (and mainstream media journalists) to mistakenly believe that ZERO deaths occurred in those who were vaccinated. But this is blatantly false. Being vaccinated against H1N1 swine flu offers absolutely no reduction in mortality from swine flu infections.

POLAND -- The decision seemed fraught with risk: a government refusing to import swine flu vaccines amid worldwide warnings of a spreading epidemic. But Poland did just that, becoming the only country worldwide known to reject the vaccines over safety fears and distrust in the drug companies producing them � concerns international health experts reject as unfounded. All have given up their jobs and some are now 60 per cent disabled. Last night it emerged they are to miss out on payouts, prompting furore among campaigners. More than 150 MPs have lent their support to demands for a better deal for the victims. WASH.D.C. -- No decision has been by U.S. health officials on whether to cancel or sell its orders for the H1N1 flu vaccine.An official with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says demand for the vaccine is steady and the focus remains on mass immunizations. The U.S. currently has contracts for 251-million doses of bulk vaccine from five pharmaceutical companies. As the U.S. mulls over its decision to cancel orders, Germany has arrived at the decision to do so. Officials there are planning to cancel half of the 50-million orders for the H1N1 vaccine from GlaxoSmithKline. Doctors in Germany had initially thought two doses of the vaccine would be needed to stave off flu. Meantime, France has already placed a stop on over half it orders.

U.S.A. -- An increasing amount of data indicates that when a pregnant woman is vaccinated, cytokines induced by the vaccination increase the likelihood that her embryo or fetus will experience atypical brain development. For instance, " Maternal immune activation (MIA) can affect fetal brain development and thus behavior of young and adult offspring. Reports have shown that increased Interleukin-6 (IL-6) in the maternal serum plays a key role in altering fetal brain development, and may impair social behaviors in the offspring." (1) Relevant is the fact that influenza vaccination increases IL-6 (2). Indeed, commenting on the IL-6 finding (1), University of Minnesota neuroscientist S. Hossein Fatemi, M.D., Ph.D., described the autism significance of dysregulation of maternal immunity (3). Importantly and free online, a detailed but readable elaboration of maternal inflammation and adverse sequelae is presented by M.I.N.D. Institute's Isaac N. Pessah, Ph.D., and colleagues (section V in cite 4). Given findings summarized in that part of the Pessah et al review (4), oft-repeated admonitions to vaccinate pregnant women - and thus recommendations and policies to induce transient elevations of interleukin-6 and other cytokines - may be properly categorized as an insanity of modernity.

(Dec 30 2009) - Thimerosal: A vaccine ingredient�s toxic legacy
U.S.A. -- Fast forward 60 years to the present; parents state their children were developing normally until the time of a vaccine; boys are 3 to 4 times more likely to have autism than girls; often times sitting, walking, talking are all normal in a child until 12-30 months followed by a major regression. The parallels to the present day epidemic in childhood neurologic disorders to this 1948 article are striking and concerning. What is equally disturbing is the observation of the authors that the neurologic problem occurred near the administration of the pertussis vaccine and that the "sex difference" in the "gross injury to the developing nervous system" was similar to the heavy metal lead. Thimerosal is a mercury-containing organic compound or organomercurial. In the 1930s, Eli Lily developed Thimerosal as a preservative and it has been used in a number of biological and drug products, including many vaccines. Until the removal of Thimerosal, which contains 49.9% ethyl mercury by weight, from most pediatric vaccines in 2001, the source of the largest human exposure to mercury in the US was in children under 18 months of age undergoing routine childhood immunization schedules. Before 2001, a child may have received a cumulative dose of over 200 �g/kg [micrograms per kilogram] in the first 18 months of life.

CDC -- {By Mark Blaxill} It�s official now, real autism rates have exploded to 1 in 100 American children. We�re facing a national public health emergency of historic proportions. Bigger than swine flu. Bigger than polio. Bigger than almost anything one can imagine except AIDS. No matter how hard some may try, it�s impossible to escape the inexorable upward march of the numbers. Even Tom Insel, head of autism research at NIH and not exactly the autism world�s greatest forward thinker, has conceded the obvious: �There is no question that there has got to be an environmental component here.� Following last week�s release of the latest CDC autism surveillance report, no amount of methodological obfuscation (�autism prevalence has clearly gone up but there are no real incidence studies�), epidemiological nihilism (�we simply can�t know without large scale, well-controlled, prospective studies�) or social deconstructionist nonsense (�autism is an intolerant invention of modern society�) should escape scorn . Anyone with brain, a conscience and an ounce of integrity must acknowledge that we face a crisis. Meanwhile, those who would accuse the autism parent community of �denialism�, unscientific reasoning and irresponsible irrationality need to explain how their own theories, so dependent on the evidence-free suggestion that rates are rising because of �better diagnosing�, deserve to be considered respectable scientific speech. There is no more unscientific position in public health today than the fiction that rising autism rates come from better diagnosing. Let�s be clear, the only evidence for better diagnosing is wishful thinking.

(Dec 18 2009) - CDC Expected To Say 1 In 100 Kids Autistic
UNITED STATES -- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is expected to release a report Friday morning detailing an increase in the prevalence of autism in America's children, potentially supporting evidence released earlier this year that one in every 100 kids now suffers from the disease. Those numbers are up from a 2007 report that found autism affected one in 150 children and compare to about one in 8,000 children who suffer from pediatric cancers and one in 500 who suffer from juvenile diabetes. The CDC was expected to discuss the report in a press conference at noon EST Friday. The news may be even worse for boys, who some reports have pegged at suffering autism at rates closer to one in 60. {Age of Autism Report}

WORLD -- The names of the members of a group that acts as advisers to WHO on the swine flu are a closely kept secret. The group advocated upgrading the status of the flu from epidemic to pandemic. Since then, pharmaceutical companies have sold more than 55-billion crowns worth of vaccines, writes the Danish daily news outlet "Information". WHO relies on a secret group of experts, the so-called Emergency Committee {Wikileaks.org}. The organisation consults this Emergency Committee on managing the swine flu. The committee is at the epicentre of desicion-making and recommended the declaration of a swine flu pandemic to Director General, Margaret Chan {chanm@who.int}. A recommendation that she implemented on June 11th this year, referring to the group of experts. This resulted in enormous economic gains for Big Pharma.

(Dec 15 2009) - Sanofi-Pasteur Removes 'MERCURY FREE' Vaccine from Market
WORLD -- On December 15, 2009 the CDC released a statement announcing the recall of 800,000 doses of H1N1 vaccine from the market. This was a story that should have received widespread coverage in the national media but, instead, largely died out at the local news level. Although some local stations made the recall their top story, many simply reported it as if it were no big deal and mentioned nothing else about it in subsequent broadcasts. Yet you would think that the recall of close to 1 million vaccines would spark the national interest, especially when the vaccines are for a �pandemic� that was initially supposed to kill hundreds of thousands of Americans and disrupt the entire society. If one chooses to believe the hype about H1N1 then he/she should be quite worried about the reasons given for the recall � that it is not potent enough. The fact that the company who manufactures the vaccine is Sanofi-Pasteur is also significant because Sanofi-Pasteur made a similar mistake with the H5N1 vaccine in 2006. At the time, H5N1 was the virus that was supposed to kill us all. It seems that the lack of potency issue is a recurring theme with this particular company demonstrating, at best, a dangerous level of incompetence.

FREDERICK, MARYLAND -- The Army says a Fort Detrick biodefense worker has been hospitalized for treatment of a disease she may have contracted in a laboratory. Caree Vander Linden of the U.S. Army Institute of Infectious Diseases said Wednesday that the woman was admitted Monday to the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington to receive antibiotics intravenously. Tests have confirmed that the woman has tularemia (too-lah-REE'-mee-ah), a respiratory illness that can cause life-threatening pneumonia. The Army announced the case Friday, 11 days after she first sought help.

HOLLAND -- The man with the nickname "Dr Flu", Professor Albert Osterhaus, of the Erasmus University in Rotterdam Holland has been named by Dutch media researchers as the person at the center of the worldwide Swine Flu H1N1 Influenza A 2009 pandemic hysteria. Not only is Osterhaus the connecting person in an international network that has been described as the Pharma Mafia, he is THE key advisor to WHO on influenza and is intimately positioned to personally profit from the billions of euros in vaccines allegedly aimed at H1N1. Earlier this year the Second Chamber of the Netherlands Parliament undertook an investigation into alleged conflicts of interest and financial improprieties of the well-known Dr. Osterhaus. Outside of Holland and the Dutch media, the only note of the sensational investigation into Osterhaus' business affairs came in a tiny note in the respected British magazine, Science.

UKRAINE -- The German government is planning to give swine flu vaccine to the Ukraine and other countries after less than 5 % of the people took the untested jab even by the government's own somewhat inflated estimates. Only 15 % of doctors and health care workers took the jab. Health Minister Philip R�sler has said that Ukraine could be the recipient of 2.2 million doses of the Pandemrix jab, classified as a bioweapon by EU and US regulators according to biopharma drug databases. The Ukraine President Viktor Yushchenko last month implemented martial law and suspended presidential elections under the pretext of a pandemic emergency. Several regions have been put under quarantine and critics of the swine flu jab arrested as the Ukraine gears up for a mass vaccination campaign.

WISCONSIN -- Wisconsin counties have a little-known policy that allows forced isolation or quarantine of people using armed law enforcement and deputized civilians. Wisconsin statute requires each county to have an isolation and quarantine procedure. The order originated with the Centers for Disease Control from anthrax threats in 2001. But the policy is broader. It includes isolating people infected or even suspected of being infected with a contagious disease such as tuberculosis or in a flu pandemic. Douglas County Health Officer Deb Clasen says every county health officer in the state can now order that guards be put on infectious people.

The new H1N1 strain, which was discovered in Mexico and the U.S. in April, may be the product of three strains from three continents that swapped genes in a lab or a vaccine-making plant, Gibbs, and fellow Australian scientists wrote in Virology Journal. The authors analyzed the genetic makeup of the virus and found its origin could be more simply explained by human involvement than a coincidence of nature. But the county�s medical examiner said he has performed autopsies on some residents who were never diagnosed with H1N1, but actually had it.�In the autopsy, what we�re seeing is very heavy, wet hemorrhagic lungs, lungs with a lot of blood in them,� said Dr. Gregory Schmunk.He said the official count of seven H1N1 deaths is inaccurate, but patient rights laws prohibit him from giving specific numbers.He said there are two reasons for the discrepancy. First, not all sick patients get tests and second, the virus is difficult to detect. Some patients may be too sick to receive the most accurate H1N1 test.�They�re not always done and it can be hazardous to the patient if they�re in a respiratory critical situation,� Schmunk said.He also said that some tests reveal a false negative.

The label of the seasonal flu vaccination had H1N1 on the label as one of the strains targeted -- but not the current H1N1 strain. Paul Buckley, the Needham Fire Department chief, was among those coming in Monday to get the H1N1 vaccine. Buckley had been notified by the department that the vaccination he originally got, along with a number of his colleagues, was the seasonal flu vaccination by mistake. In all, 47 people were affected. The mistake left people confused and concerned.

HOUSTON -- The AMA House of Delegates rejected a proposal to mandate vaccinations for health care professionals but approved other policy to prevent the spread of seasonal flu and influenza A(H1N1). A resolution by the Infectious Diseases Society of America said the AMA should back universal seasonal and H1N1 flu immunizations unless health professionals have medical contraindications or religious objections. In October, New York state announced that it was requiring all health professionals to get the H1N1 immunization, but the mandate was suspended later that month due to vaccine shortages. "It is our ethical duty to do no harm and prevent transmission of disease to patients," said Michael L. Butera, MD, an alternate delegate who spoke on behalf of IDSA. "Despite educational efforts, we have 40% to 70% immunization rates that are woefully inadequate." Mandates may be "the only way to achieve" the goal of universal vaccination, he said.

POLAND -- On TVN24 in Poland Baxter has admitted they contaminated 72 KG of vaccine material with the live bird flu virus. As a result of handling this contaminated material in February, 36 people working for the labs Avir and BioTest had to be treated preventatively for the bird flu in hospitals in Austria and the Czech Republic, underlining that their health was threatened by the material in the opinion of medical experts. Both Avir and BioTest have stated that the final purpose of the contaminated Baxter material was for use in regular seasonal flu vaccines, strongly suggesting the notion it would have been injected into people if it had not been detected by staff at BioTest. The Times of India reported on March 6th that a global bird flu pandemic had nearly been triggerd by the Baxter material. Because Baxter is obliged under EU rules to handle the bird flu virus using biosafety level 3 or 4 precautions in its ultra modern biomedical facilities in Austria, an accidental contamination can be virtually ruled out. No evidence has been presented by Baxter to prove otherwise. WHO supplied the bird flu virus to Baxter. But for what purpose ? It is not clear how the live bird flu virus could have been sent out of the facilities without being radiated (to kill or weaken the virus) and mixed with normal flu material making it an even more potent potential bioweapon under a false label unless it was part of a deliberate plan. In spite of the overwhelming evidence of a crime that posed a real and deadly danger to the Austrian people, the prosecutor at Korneuburg has dropped the case against Baxter.

Online on forums, websites and blogs reports came in about eye witness accounts that confirms this. AMSTERDAM -- Dutch authorities say they have banned use of a batch of Pfizer's Prevenar, or Prevnar, after three infants died within two weeks of receiving the anti-infection vaccination. "On average about 5 to 10 deaths are reported annually after babies get vaccines," said a spokeswoman for the Dutch health institute RIVM. "We now have three cases in a short period, that is unusual and the reason for suspending the batch." She said RIVM was investigating the cause of the infants' deaths. Other batches of Prevenar, known as Prevnar in the United States, will continue to be used. Pfizer spokeswoman Gwen Fisher said preliminary investigations by the company and health authorities had found no link between the vaccinations and the deaths.

CANADA -- (Toronto Sun) The company that released contaminated flu virus material from a plant in Austria confirmed Friday that the experimental product contained live H5N1 avian flu viruses. And an official of the World Health Organization�s European operation said the body is closely monitoring the investigation into the events that took place at Baxter International�s research facility in Orth-Donau, Austria. �At this juncture we are confident in saying that public health and occupational risk is minimal at present,� medical officer Roberta Andraghetti said from Copenhagen, Denmark. �But what remains unanswered are the circumstances surrounding the incident in the Baxter facility in Orth-Donau.�

The contaminated product, a mix of H3N2 seasonal flu viruses and unlabelled H5N1 viruses, was supplied to an Austrian research company. The Austrian firm, Avir Green Hills Biotechnology, then sent portions of it to sub-contractors in the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Germany. The contamination incident, which is being investigated by the four European countries, came to light when the subcontractor in the Czech Republic inoculated ferrets with the product and they died. Ferrets shouldn�t die from exposure to human H3N2 flu viruses. Public health authorities concerned about what has been described as a �serious error� on Baxter�s part have assumed the death of the ferrets meant the H5N1 virus in the product was live. But the company, Baxter International Inc., has been parsimonious about the amount of information it has released about the event.

On Friday, the company�s director of global bioscience communications confirmed what scientists have suspected. �It was live,� Christopher Bona said in an email. The contaminated product, which Baxter calls �experimental virus material,� was made at the Orth-Donau research facility. Baxter makes its flu vaccine � including a human H5N1 vaccine for which a licence is expected shortly � at a facility in the Czech Republic. People familiar with biosecurity rules are dismayed by evidence that human H3N2 and avian H5N1 viruses somehow co-mingled in the Orth-Donau facility. That is a dangerous practice that should not be allowed to happen, a number of experts insisted.

Accidental release of a mixture of live H5N1 and H3N2 viruses could have resulted in dire consequences. While H5N1 doesn�t easily infect people, H3N2 viruses do. If someone exposed to a mixture of the two had been simultaneously infected with both strains, he or she could have served as an incubator for a hybrid virus able to transmit easily to and among people. That mixing process, called reassortment, is one of two ways pandemic viruses are created.

There is no suggestion that happened because of this accident, however. �We have no evidence of any reassortment, that any reassortment may have occurred,� said Andraghetti. �And we have no evidence of any increased transmissibility of the viruses that were involved in the experiment with the ferrets in the Czech Republic.�

Baxter hasn�t shed much light � at least not publicly � on how the accident happened. Earlier this week Bona called the mistake the result of a combination of �just the process itself, (and) technical and human error in this procedure.� He said he couldn�t reveal more information because it would give away proprietary information about Baxter�s production process. Andraghetti said Friday the four investigating governments are co-operating closely with the WHO and the European Centre for Disease Control in Stockholm, Sweden.

�We are in very close contact with Austrian authorities to understand what the circumstances of the incident in their laboratory were,� she said. �And the reason for us wishing to know what has happened is to prevent similar events in the future and to share lessons that can be learned from this event with others to prevent similar events. ... This is very important.�
