Dear Editor, Taha SALEH continues to deceive and lie to the residents of the 2nd District and is claiming that I am out to smear his campaign.
I reside in the 2nd District and have had no intentions of smearing his campaign, however, voters are concerned and are demanding that TAHA SALEH clarify disgusting allegations of his ethics, moral standards, and demeanor that will affect his qualifications in representing the 2nd District.
After hearing of the allegations I informed the City Council and promised that I would get back to them with any findings.
FIRST ALLEGATION: What was shared and was confirmed to me came from a young man that informed me that TAHA SALEH had insulted him by verbally assaulting him by saying to him, "get your Black "N-WORD" ass out of my store". The young man said that SALEH's demeaning remarks were said in front of a Christian lady and she was appalled and she, as he, was very hurt by the vicious verbal assault.
SECOND ALLEGATION: I was able to confirm with a young lady who claims that historically the SALEH business refused to pay her three weeks of work. This occurred several years before the incident with the Black gentleman, which probably gave SALEH the impression that he could treat and identify Americans as slaves. I am still looking into two other allegations connected to TAHA SALEH.
I had given SALEH in "good faith" the opportunity to address and clarify these allegations and he DECLINED. SALEH needs to stop dividing our community. American Latinos are sick of his nonsense.
Local businesses that are supporting TAHA SALEH need to consider these troubling allegations or face dealing with the consequences.
