»  (Apr 15 2009) - A TEA PARTY WAS HAD - BY TAX PAYERS WHO HAD IT

PORTERVILLE, CA -- Today in Porterville, a Tea Party was had … by those who “Had-It” Matt Cox and Daughter Addisyn with paying taxes without fair representation. All total, 20 some odd “give-us-what-you got” speakers laid hands on the mic at Centennial Park and Matt Cox – lead organizer of this years tea party – said, “These tax paying folks deserve a platform and today we gave it to them.”

Starting around 11:00am the faithful began arriving. In about an hour, somewhere between 150 to 200 folks stopped by to show their support. All waited through Tea-Party speeches from the mic handlers - which included the Mayor of Porterville, Cam Hamilton and City Councilman Brian Ward.

Petitions were brought and signed as information packets given out. Folks made their rounds greeting one another, as if they kinda knew that this was just the beginning … and it was. Matt Cox and his Tea-Party-Team assured the audience that this was in fact, the beginning and they were already talking about putting together something a lot bigger, maybe sometime in June or July.

Porterville was among thousands of other cities across America that decided that this was a good time to join the nation and support the cause. Mr. Cox, who the Post interviewed a few weeks back, felt that he’d have a major regret if he didn’t listen to that nudge GOD had put in his heart.

Looking at the number of cities, large and small, who determined to assemble, regardless of the New World Order lapdog agencies “claims of possible terrorist activity”, Porterville’s people pulled together and gathered for a Tea Party.

Special singers graced the platform - a time or two - with patriotic numbers and at the right times, we all removed our caps, placed our hands over our hearts and sang right along. Those who remembered the sacrifices of our hometown vets, popped to attention with a military salute.

Mr. David Prado, one of the chief organizers of the Tea Party and vice president of the Porterville Area Republican Assembly, told the Post “I knew the right people would show up and GOD would Bless our efforts. Now we need to have another meeting real soon.”

Al Rollins, another Tea Party Organizer and PARA member told the Post that they will be looking into putting together a couple of more committees to help with the next gathering. “I was excited about this one and it looks like the folks got a bit excited as well. We really want to keep the momentum going.”

And at the right time, yours truly, hot-dogged the mic a bit. All I wanted the folks to know that I was sick and tired about these New World Order folks cramming their unconstitutional constructs down our throats. Americans pay taxes to help our people here in the states … not in other countries.

To be sure, the Post will have an on going information page to let our Tea Party People know when and where the next gathering will be.
