SAVE THE DATE - MAY 10th - NAMI WALK 2008
Time is running out for those who want to enter this year’s NAMI Tulare County Walk for Mental Illness.
The Walk will be held on May 10, 2008 in Fresno as a part of NAMI Fresno County.
Even though this is a fundraiser, the main objective is to raise public awareness of mental illness, provide education, and to help remove the STIGMA commonly associated with mentally ill people.
It is becoming a widely-known fact the there are many, many people suffering from mental illness. It touches many of us in some way almost every day.
This event is just one way you can help make a difference in the lives of consumers (mentally ill persons), their families and care givers.
